A Message from John A. Fry and Richard A. Hayne
Dear Friends of Drexel University and Drexel University College of Medicine,
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Although John Quincy Adams wrote these words two centuries ago, the message resonates for the Drexel community today.
We have a unique culture at Drexel. People here genuinely care about one another, and we all have made an investment in the success of our great institution. Our close-knit community comprises students, alumni, friends, faculty and professional staff, and we all have the power to lead, inspire and be inspired.
Our alumni and friends inspire us with their gifts of resources, ideas and time. Our faculty inspire us with their passion for academic excellence and groundbreaking research. Our professional staff inspire us with their willingness to go the extra mile every day. And our students—our reason for being here—inspire us with their entrepreneurial spirit and relentless quest for excellence.
Thank you for an inspiring fiscal year 2011. You’ve inspired us, and we pledge to continue inspiring you. As we launch our comprehensive campaign, Dream It. Do It. Drexel. A Campaign for the Future, in fiscal year 2012, our partnership of mutual inspiration will only intensify, because we’re all in this together, and we inspire.
